A workshop on M&E Framework and join collaboration plan for quality of care was held in CIRDAP auditorium on the 19th of April, 2016. The objective of the workshop was to share the joint monitoring and evaluation framework for ensuring quality of care in health service delivery and to discuss on modalities of joint collaboration with local partners (DPs/NGOs) for necessary coordination with quality of care activities. The meeting was presided by Md Ashadul Islam, Additional Secretary and Director General of Health Economics Unit. He briefed on the objective of the workshop to the participants. Dr Aminul Hasan, Deputy Director Health Economics Unit and Focal person of the Quality Improvement Secretariat presented on the M&E framework. He gave an overview of the concept as well as the modalities for M&E. He also discussed on the findings of the mapping exercise and shared the list of identified DPs and NGOs for QI coordination by district and upazila level. The participants had elaborated discussion on the framework, frequency of conduction of M&E and other relevant areas. They also talked of their possible modalities and support for QI activities. Finally, Md Ashadul Islam encouraged DPs/NGOs to work in close collaboration with government in fulfilling the strategic objectives of quality of care as per the National strategy.
